Counties such as China, India and Japan have unsustainable population growths. In fact many experts are of the opinion that the population ‘explosion’ which is now a very worrying concern, is the most serious threat to life on this planet.
Give some suggestions to address this problem.
It is undeniably true that, in current day world many problems faced by countries like India, China and Japan are because of its huge population. Many experts researches on the consequenses caused by heavy population are alarming.
We need to acknowledge that economy of the country depends upon its people. But, At the same time the economy can also be hindered with over population. The higly populated countries faces several problems like increased competition for everything. For example, unemployment, with increased number of graduate students the competition increases and with less jobs avaialbility could lead to the unemployment. This unemployment could in turn lead to several social and economic problems in the country.
It is very much essential for any country to take necessary initiatives in controlling its population. According to me, the best way of doing this is by educating the people about the benefits of having small families. Governments can advertise several films and documentaries showing the benefits like saving money, less domestic problems and more happiness.
Also, governmetns can introduce new policies, which gives benefits people having children restricted to one or two. For example, chinas infamous single child policy. China claims that this policy has avoided more than 50 million births in the country which helped reducing its population hugely.
Furthermore, government should conduct campains in rural areas where media is hard to reach. In these campains government can organise free health check ups attracting more number of people and suggest them on several medical problems which includes the family planning benefits.
Summing up, several policies and educational programs can help reducing the population growth.
