poor countries should refuse to pay debts from rich countries? or not?

topic. As foreign aid often benefits the donor more than the recipient, poor countries should refuse to pay debts from rich countries. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

No matter what a country wants to develop, it needs money; because their budgets are limited, many poor countries sometimes have to appeal to favor of finance from rich countries. However, because the donor benefits more than the recipient, many people think that poor countries should refuse to pay debts from rich countries. In way of contrast, I think poor countries should pay their debts promptly due to the following reasons.

First of all, conditional aid can be considered motivation to poor countries and the best way of developing the world. By using conditional aid, poor countries will try to use the money wisely and try to develop their aims in the shortest time. Because of being sure that they will receive their money back in the future, rich countries won’t be afraid of afflicting their own budget, thus they continue to help poor countries. Both poor countries and rich countries will develop together, and create a financial balance in the world.

On the other hand, if poor countries refused to pay debts from rich countries one time, there would be no longer trust between them. Because of the mainstream, if one rich country were cheated, others would become skeptical and refuse to aid in finance. Poor countries would soon lack money; their budget would shrink gradually. Therefore, in a short time, poor countries would be exhausted, deprived of developing. Moreover, this deviant action can lead to a more serious result that is the war. After a few years, the world would be separated into two opposite kinds of countries: very poor countries and very rich countries. This imbalance is similar to the reason causing World War I and World War II in the past. If the world war one more time happened, as everyone knows, there would be a lot of deaths, fights, etc.

Bearing above reasons in mind, I strongly convince myself that poor countries should pay debts from rich countries. If they refused to do so, there would be a lot of serious consequences happening such as financial imbalance and wars.

good morning Kitos,
I have written this essay and read it several times.
I think I developed it poorly but I don’t know how to revise the whole idea.
If possible, can you outline your point of view on this issue?
Thank you a lot, Mr. Kitos.

I think you started out by stating the wrong opinion. Poor countries should REPAY their debts.
You did not say how the richer countries benefit from lending money to poorer countries. How? In what way?
