Hi,

Could oyu tell me what’s the name of the place where sport medals are given to the winners? Podium? Beating? Stage? etc.

Hi Liza,

I don’t know that there’s one single word for it, as it would depend upon the particular ceremony, but I think you could use podium, stand, stage, dais, or platform.

Beating, I’ve never heard of outside of the sense of ‘to hit’ or ‘the act of being hit’.
