I had my Tetanus booster injection on 6/8/2008 and now I have a bruise on my leg caused by a rusty screw driver. My question is whether I should have the injection again?
I’m no doctor, Ganesh, but if it is a bruise (unbroken skin) rather than a cut, then you shouldn’t need a Tetanus.
A tetanus injection lasts for approximately 10 years, though if a cut is particularly dirty or infected a booster shot may be given in between.
