Please chech the two sentences

Hello

Are the following sentences OK?

  • (Prepurchase OR presale) of various car models with daily interest rate/ payment of 21 percent.

  • Offering bank guarantee against customers’ prepayment.

Thanks a lot.

We’d need more context as they aren’t sentences.

They are just part of a car selling advertisement - where customers need to pay the whole amount of money for buying a car in advance- and they are independent and there’s no more context for the clauses - and the advertisement starts with:

The company xxx intends to presell the following car models with the following conditions.

Thanks.

  • (Prepurchase OR presale) of various car models with a daily interest rate/ payment of 21 percent.
Is this really what you want to say? That the customer will be charged 21% interest every day while they own money? If it is, then the phrase is correct.

  • Offering a bank guarantee against customers’ prepayment.

Beeesneees,

  1. ‘I can get a bank guarantee to pay your debt in three years time.’
  2. ‘I will give a bank guarantee to pay your debt in three years time.’
    Are these sentences OK?
    Thanks.

Not really. A bank guarantee does not pay somebody else’s debt.

Thank you Beeesneees, for your help.

Yes. It is what I meant.

What about " customers are offered bank guarantee against prepayment."

Thank you.

a bank guarantee

Beeesneees,

Can’t we omit “the” before “bank guarantee” as we want to use the phrase as a general sense?

Thank you.

Beeesneees,

  1. ‘I can get a bank guarantee to pay Govt. farm loan in three years time.’
  2. ‘I will give a bank guarantee to pay Govt. farm loan in three years time.’
    Now are these sentences logical?
    Thanks.

… to pay a/the Government loan…

I repeat the question:

Beeesneees,

Can’t we omit “the” before “bank guarantee” as we want to use the phrase as a general sense?

I’ll repeat the answer to your question:

Beeesneees,
1a. We had to offer our house as a guarantee when getting the loan.
1b. We have to offer our house as a guarantee when getting the loan.
2a. We had to offer our house as a guarantee to get the loan.
2b. We have to offer our house as a guarantee to get the loan.
Please correct the above. Thanks.

‘against the loan’ would be a more fluent option.
