How do you call the plantain (and I think some other fruits and vegetables) when its recently took off the tree and when it have long time since it have been taken. I tried to translate and I found that it might be call “rude” when its recently… but I’m not really sure because in Spanish we call it literally “green” so… Its one of those things hard to translate lol.

ripe - when it’s ready for eating
and simply underripe or unripe when it’s green.
