I’m Margaret from Poland. I got in touch with the language in the USA when I was twenty. I had just finished my third year at secondary school in Poland and I was selected to be one of the fifty lucky people to get a visa to the USA. I had enjoyed every minute of listening to English sounds and speaking even though the words didn’t come out of the way they should. I didn’t know that this distinction was most important in English, where the sound of the word, and the letters used to write the word, were often very different.
At present I am looking for a part-time secretarial job where I can use and improve my English skills. I am thinking about a job in an international company, but I know I don’t have any experience. I wish to continue learning English, so I am considering to take a part-time job.
