What’s the main difference between these two words?
Can anyone give some examples to explain these words?
In my opinion perspective means the way way understand thing; while, perception means the way we see things with our own eyes?

Each term has a number of other definitions too, but these are the ones you seem, concerned with.
Pardon my ignorance. I still don’t really grasp the meaning the words.
For example:
“Hollywood’s ‘perception’ of the tastes of the American public is jaded.”
vs.
“Hollywood’s ‘perspective’ of the tastes of the American public is jaded.”
To me they mean the same in usage. Please help. thanks.

Often there is such a minor difference between the two that it is difficult to decide which to use. However, often it doesn’t matter which you use for that very reason!
