outside/inside

[color=indigo]1-When observing the system and the movement of the particles, we noticed that there was rapid movement outside the A zone.

Can’t this sentence mean two things:

[color=red]2a-The partiles moved rapidly out of the A zone. The movement was from within the A zone to what was beyond it.
[color=blue]2b-There was movement that took place beyond the limits of the A zone.

[color=indigo]2-When observing the system and the movement of the particles, we noticed that there was rapid movement inside the A zone.

Can’t this sentence mean two things:

[color=red]2a-The partiles moved rapidly into the A zone.
[color=blue]2b-There was movement that took place within the limits of the A zone.

I think “rapid movement outside the A zone” or “rapid movement inside the A zone” only means definition 2b. To mean 2a you would say “rapid movement out of the A zone” or “rapid movement into the A zone”.
