one mistake is one too many

Hi people

Is it possible to say: 'I’m going to the theatre with 15 people, but that’s far too many to take one car.

Is it also possible to say:

I went to the theatre with fifteen people, but when I went back with the bus, I counted one too few, so there were only fourteen people.

I had two students too many in my classroom.

Question is:

Can you use 'one, two, three, etc. too many/ to few?

Rik.

Could you explain to me what ‘Be that as it may’ means and how you use it?

Briefly, in a conversation you could accept another persons opinion, but then go on to state your opinion.

Hi people

Is it possible to say: 'I’m going to the theatre with 15 people, but that’s far too many to take IN one car… That’s OK.

Is it also possible to say:

I went to the theatre with fifteen people, but when I went back with the bus, I counted one too few/LESS THAN I STARTED OUT WITH, so there were only fourteen people… That too is fine.

I had/HAVE two students too many in my classroom… Good also.

Question is:

Can you use 'one, two, three, etc. too many?.. YES.
