Man: A clean one, oh, oh. Here we are, here… I wipe, I wipe it off. There, is that better?
Manager: Well, little better, but give me that napkin a moment. I have to wipe my glasses as well.
Man: Oh, yes, your glasses are dirty too. I’m sorry. ←
Manager: That’s better.
Man: What now?
Manager: The tablecloth is also dirty.
Man: Oh, well, shall I wipe it clean?
Manager: No, no, It’s covered with soup. Just take tablecloth away.
Man: All right. OK. Here we go. Shall I put on another?
Manager: No, never mind. Just set the table again.

Man: Oh, yes, your glasses are dirty too. I’m sorry. ← Original text

What does he really say?

Which is correct:

  • I’m sorry.
  • Aren’t they.
  • Something else …

Thank you

It’s very difficult to hear, but he probably does say “I’m sorry”.

Apparently CHIPS has spilled soup on the Manager and is trying to clean up the mess, and now he’s sees that the manager’s glasses are dirty as well as his shirt and apologizes for that.
