never tires of/for

In the following sentence, “I love that moment right before we go on, that anticipation of the lights coming down. It never tires for me.”
Is there any slight possibility that the person who uttered those words would mean “It never tires of me”?

No possibility whatsoever, Isabelle.

Okay, Thanks, Mister Micawber!
