It was asked in my son’s holiday homework question paper.
It was one of the task for him to do in Holiday homework.

Very interesting. So, what exactly is your son supposed to do? The phrase clearly doesn’t make any sense as such.

This sentence is definitely confusing.
experience - knowledge or skill from doing, seeing, or feeling things
good turn - an act or gesture that helps another person
So maybe the intention is perhaps to write about an experience he had helping another person.
