Music (How can anyone so young have the sense of rhythm?)

I read about this tiny tot, Cleopatra Stratan, a few days ago. She became a sucessful singer at the age of 3 ( I doubt if I could even speak when I was her age  ). I listened to her song, Ghita and I found it really good.

I wonder how can one have the knowledge of music at such a young age. I mean, how can anyone so young have the sense of rhythm?

That makes me wonder if music is more of an instinct than an art, which we get naturally.

But then, I have known people (grown-ups) who say they love music but they don’t even have the sense of rhythm. :frowning:

Why wouldn’t one?

They’d mostly be white folk, right?

Chips on the shoulder tend to develop a rhythm of their own.

Hi daemon99
Cleopatra Stratan does seem to be something of a prodigy, doesn’t she? Why wouldn’t even newborns have a sense of rhythm? What I find more far more amazing than a sense of rhythm is ‘perfect pitch’.

She sure does. I am a big fan of hers now :-).

It’s truly amazing. I forgot to mention that in my previous post.
