membership

Hi,

Which version(s) sound natural?

  1. I have a lifetime membership in the NRA.

  2. I have lifetime membership in the NRA.

  3. I have a membership in the NRA.

  4. I have membership in the NRA.

Thanks!

Hi OTS,

I would go for the simpler form - I am a life time member of NRA (1 and 2) - I am a member of NRA (3 and 4).

Alan

Alan,

  1. I have a lifetime membership in the NRA.
  2. I have lifetime membership in the NRA.
Are both sentences with and without article - ‘a’ correct?

I have a lifetime membership with the NRA.
I have lifetime membership of the NRA.

Hi Alan and Bev,

Thanks for your help!

For “I have lifetime membership of the NRA.”
can I say, “I have a lifetime membership of the NRA.”?

It would be acceptable, but ‘I am a lifetime member of…’ would be more usual.
