I agree with Beeeneees, if you look up the word in a dictionary you will read this: make compatible again, harmonize again; schedule a second game between two particular teams; compete against someone again (as in an athletic game)
As you can see, it’s almost impossible to ‘explain’ a separate word. You need to give us some more information and the context you found the word in.
