Meaning of on sale/go: The new model goes on sale next week

1/Please tell me the meaning of “go” in this sentence:

The new model goes on sale next week. (1)

2/ In (1), “on sale” means “can be bought” or “will be offered at a reduced price” or both are possible?

I think, Tung Quoc, that The new model goes on sale next week means that the new model will be exhibited for sale next week, will be available for buying( but not at a reduced price)

So, for “on sale” in the sentence:

All video equipment is [color=red]on sale today.

“on sale” means “available to be bought” or “being offered at a reduced price” or both are possible?
