Maximum two persons may be in this area at the same time. I think it's wrong

Hi @Torsten,

This topic’s title is actually a notice on the wall of our local bank, however, I don’t think it’s correct. I’m pretty sure it should read: "Only two persons are allowed in this area at the same time. Or stronger: “Maximum two persons allowed in this area at the same time.”
It has to do with corona measures, you know. What do you think?

I like the phrase ‘no more than two people on these premises’.

Yes, indeed, you’re right. Should I inform the bank manager about his somewhat ‘school English’? I don’t think so, I would appear to be very pretentious, if I did, after all I’m not in teacher’s position. :slight_smile:
