"Looking forward to...."

Hi, I have a question.

Which one do you think is grammatically correct?

  1. We’re looking forward to meeting you on Monday at 3.

  2. We’re looking forward to meet you on Monday at 3.

The second one sounds better, but I think the first one is grammatically correct.

What do you think?

Thank you

The first one is correct.

The word follows “look forward to” should be a noun which is, in this case, a gerund.

Oh, i see. Thank you very much “W”
