I have a sentence below:

“after investigation and found that hydraulic oil leaks (or leakage) from hydraulic control line at fitting connection due to fitting deformed”

please correc my mistake

We need the complete sentence in order to check the grammar, but you can use ‘leaks’ / ‘a leak’ / ‘leakage’: all are OK.

here is complete sentence:

" At 0600 hrs on 22 Dec 09, process control system had low alarm of hydraulic pressure header (4000Psi) and level tank low alarm also whilst process system was stable and normal. on monitoring, hydraulic pressure header was reducing slightly. after having check and suspected that this hydraulic oil loss could be control line leaks or broken then decieded manually initiated ESD to shutdown process and released pressure in all control line and hydraulic system. A staff member to visit the site has been requested for investigation.

The operator visited the site and found that the 1/2" tubing was deformed at fitting connection to cause hydraulic oil had leaked external and sprayed onto work way of the deck. then hydraulic oil was spilled and contained in deck sealed (not a grating).
All hydraulic oil on the deck had been collected, cleaned up work site and made new tubing/fitting then restarted process at 0900hrs.
About 20 liters of hydraulic oil were recoverred from the deck.
checking on daytank level and topped up about 40ltrs to normal level. so an estimated 20 liters of hydraulic oil ran off into the sea under the strong winds.

The cause of failure is concluded ½” OD control line has fatigued at tie in point and broken due to well body is vibrating in strong wind and rough sea condition but tubing is clamped closely to tie in point then created tubing stress at tie in section.

  2. One James was asking for a meeting ? (can we use One befor the name / noun)
