I've never been to Wales before vs. I've never been to Wales

Hi,

I’ve never been to Wales before.

Can I say “I’ve never been to Wales”? If so, would the meaning be the same?

Thanks a lot.

They have different meanings. The use of ‘before’ indicates that you are planning to go there or that you are there.
“I’ve never been to Wales” is a simple statement and has no information regarding whether or not you will go there.

All right, Bev. Thanks a lot.
