Is there any mistake in this?

This is just a joke done by me.
"What should you do if you want a book not to be read by anyone?

Make the prerequisite of that book the same book."

I feel that there are some mistakes in the above sentences. I also feel that there is some wrong usage of words. Please help me.

Hmmm …Don’t start a career in stand-up just yet Imsriam

I dont really understand the joke, or the idea behind it.

How do you make a book not read by anyone?
Say that before you can read the book, you have to read the book. …is that it in a nutshell?

It’s not really doing it for me…
My daughter asked me what cows have for breakfast… Moosli (now that’s a joke!)

or try this one…
What is orange and sounds like a parrot? … a carrot. (LOL, ROLF etc… )

“Before you can read the book, you have to read the book”
I want you to use the word “prerequisite” in the above sentence.

The unwritten rule is that using “prerequisite” in any joke immediately makes it not funny.

But, you’re the boss so… How do you make a book not read by anyone?
Make reading the book a prerequisite to reading the book.

Hilarity ensues, the crown goes wild … but it is at least grammatically correct (unless proper English teachers come here and disagree  )

Hi Thredder,

You just made that unwritten rule up, didn’t you? You ought to write it down.

I agree with everything else though.
