Is the word 'gob' used in the US too?

Can anyone please tell me if the originally Irish word ‘gob’ is used in North America too?

Not as far as I know - it means mouth right? The only reason I guess that is they do sell “Everlasting Gobstopper” candy, but the name comes from the Willie Wonka movie.

I lived there for 4 years and I don’t heard this word.
Hopefully people from US can tell us.
