What is the purpose of faith in Nichiren Shoshu? To put it simply, there are two ultimate purposes for taking faith in this Buddhism.

“Taking faith” is not used in English. “Having faith” is much better.

There are two ultimate reasons for having faith in this branch of Buddhism.

I don’t think it is. We usually use this collocation: ‘Have faith’. We may also say, ‘Repose your faith in God’.
