is it necessary to use "there are"?

Hi,
I’ve got a newbie question for you today.

I’d like to know if there have to be THERE ARE in this sentence:
There are two important things in my life.

If i wanted to write this sentence in my language I would write it without it (it sounds normal to me):
In my life are two important things.

or should it be written even in other way ?

I know that this is a newbie question and there are a lot of senteces with this “phrase“ but I’m not really sure about it.
So I’m asking if it is necessary to use it in the sentence or it sounds fine without it.

Thank you very much.

Hello M3,

  1. There are two important things in my life.
  2. In my life there are two important things.
  3. In my life are two important things.

#1 and #2 would be the usual versions; it’s possible that someone would use the 3rd version as a stylistic device, but I wouldn’t expect to encounter it in everyday English.

Best wishes,

MrP

Here’s another stylistic device:

There are two important things in my life, there are.

wow thx
