"... is/has a personality"?!

Hello.
Would you please tell me which sentence is correct?

  1. My friend [color=red]is a naturally ebullient personality.
  2. My friend [color=red]has a naturally ebullient personality.

Thank you.

  1. is correct.

This is the correct version of (1)
My friend is a naturally ebullient person.

Thank you.
That’s a shame then! Because the first one is pretty much the same example sentence that Longman has given: ldoceonline.com/dictionary/ebullient
