Integrated essay: Birds decline

Hello sir, thank you for spare some time to correct my essay. I am very appreciate for your help.

The reading passage and the professor both discuss the topic of birds decline in the United States. However, the professor disagrees with the idea that the population of birds in the United States will necessarily decline due to the growth of the human population shown in the reading passage. The lecturer provides several reasons to refute the viewpoint.

In the first place, the professor states that the modern cities provide better and large space for birds. The statement questions the aspect that traditional areas suitable for birds keep decreasing, so will the size of the bird populations shown in the reading passage. In the professor's observation, the population of birds increases in the city, which is not consistence with the idea in the reading.

In the second place, the professor goes further to make a point that the development of agricultural do not need to destroy wilderness areas. This perspective gives different explanations from the passage because the farmers grow some new and more productive crops. The prospect also casts doubts on the idea that bird populations will continue to decline because of the growth of agriculture in the reading passage.

Finally but not least, the lecturer is opposed to the writer's standpoint by highlighting that nowadays farms grow more pest-resistant crops. While the article indicates the pesticides have significantly contributes to declines in bird population, the speaker points out growing those new crops reduces the need of pesticides.

In conclusion, the evidence provided illustrates that the professor refuses the points made in reading materials. She believes that the claim in the reading passage is unconvincing.
