I'm on a diet / I'm slimming

Hi everybody,

Could I know if I can use the following sentences interchangeably?

  1. I’m on a diet.
  2. I’m slimming.

Thanks a lot. Cheerio

PS: In a previous message I wrote “I hope everything is doing well for you”. Is it correct? Is the correct form “I hope everything is GOING well for you”, by any chance? Thanks once more.

Both sentences generally carry the same meaning.

.’…going well’ is correct. Alternatively if you want to use 'to do’you could say
‘I hope you are doing well.’

Hey Bev! Then I hope you are doing well.

I hope things are going well for you too.
