"I" or "not I"

Please read this sentence:

I live alone but I never feel lonely.

When I say:

I live alone but never feel lonely.

This is correct in grammar or no?

This is not only correct, it is probably the more typical of the two sentences. Repeating the word “I” is unnecessary.
