what does it mean: i couldn’t care less, in this context.
I thought it should be: more, bacause the speaker has had most of bad to put up with/stand it.
thanks

The speaker doesn’t care at all. The other person can do whatever they want.[YSaerTTEW443543]

[color=blue]“I couldn’t care less.” means ‘I don’t care at all, not even a tiny bit.’ It’s impossible for me to care less, because I already care zero about it.

Strange reasoning! It simply means I couldn’t be less interested even if I tried to care.
