i am an engineering student and am in a bit of a quandary. i study power engineering which is a combination of electrical and mechanical engineeering concerned with power generation. i intend to study abroad, but am not particularly interested in studying either electrical or mechanical engineering. i would rather take up computer engineering or communications engineering.
my question is can i make this shift? if i can make the shift, and things do not work out what can i do?
