how to use not only?

I know that NOt only …but also can be used to connect two subjects or verbs.
Can I say," He not only is good at English but also helps others with it."
Is it a correct sentence?
Or should I say," He is not only good at English but also helps others with it."

My two cents:

Not only is he good at English, he also helps other with it/he helps other with it as well.

Let’s wait for our teachers and see what their opinions will be.

Not only is he good at English, but he also helps others (with it).
Not only is he good at English, but he helps others with it as well.
He is not only good at English, but he also helps others with it.
He is not only good at English, he helps others (with it) as well.

so we can say," he not only is good at English but also helps others with it."
Thank you for your help.
