Is there a term for “making an adjective a noun”.
Like in German they say “Nominalisierung”.

The verb “nominalize” means to change verb or adjective into a noun. You can nominalize ‘nominalize’ by changing it to ‘nominalization’. :smiley:

(I assume the spelling in the UK would be “nominalise”.)

Is there a term for the inverse? Turn a noun to an adjective? Or even just a general term for the changing of a word from one part of speech to another, such as Legendarium to Legendary?
