I’d say: If you know how terrible the sin is, you will know how amazing the Good News is.

That’s grammatically right. You have used capital letters for ‘good news’. Is this a religious point?

‘Bad news’ doesn’t always mean ‘sin’. Maybe you are also thinking about the capitals of ‘good news’ and thinking it may be religious.
