How do I schedule my time during the test?

Hi guys!!

I have been giving practice tests every alternate day. I am satisfied with my quants scores. (I uually score above 750) but my verbal scores are really terrible. The highest I ever got was 500. and the average verbal score is between 400-450. .

I find it all the more tough because of 3 RCs besides other questions. I always find myself short of time in the end because of the three whole passages and most offen tend to miss out the easier antonym and analogy questions. Should I start guesing toward the end in an attempt to answer all the questions or should I focus more on answering the questions correctly and in the procee leave out the last questions? I have even heard that we would be penalised for unaswered questions more than the wrong ones. Is it true. I am totally confused. Please advise.

Kindly suggest me how much time should I devote for RCs during the test. and please suggest ways to imrove my verbal score.

I believe that it is true in an adaptive test the way that the scores are calculated it is better to give an incorrect answer than to leave questions unanswered.
