I am trying to construct the below sentences with the word resemble, but I am not sure if they are correct? I hope somebody can assist me.

  1. How closely does the singer resembles his picture and on screen?
  2. Does he resemble his picture and on screen?

Both instances should be ‘resemble’, but I’m having problems with other phrasing there. For one thing as the singer is the original, and the photograph and the on-screen appearance are the copies, I would ask how well they resemble the singer, rather than the other way around.

How well do his on-screen appearance and photograph resemble the singer?
