Olympic Games will be held in Beijing, which is the capital of China, I am very proud of being a Chinese people. At that time, people from all over the world will get together to meet the Oymic Games. The whole world will focus their attention on Beijing,Beijing also will show their beauty to all over the world. What is an exciting moment.I can’t help waiting.But there are some criminals who intend to destroy Olympic Torch. To be honest, I didn’t pay attention to the problem of politics, Don’t combine politics with Olympic Games. As a Chinese people, I don’t want to publish some comments here. I just hope Beijing Oympic games will be held successfully.

Typically the dictatorships depict these people as criminals, partly by lumping them into one category with people who really are criminals. When people outside the country protest this, these governments say that the Olympic Games should not be mixed with politics, but they themselves mix the Olympic Games with politics.

I know China isn’t perfect. No perfect countries whatsoever. We will solve the problems gradually. But nobody is expected to poke his nose to China’s internal affaires.

I know many Chinese activists were blown up by certain people, but they were totally forgotten when they became “has-beens”. They were abandoned when they uttered even a word about criticizing false western democracy. Pitiful… they weren’t accepted by the both sides.

Last I knew, the US, Canada, the UK, France and Germany didn’t hold people on laogai camps (so-called “reeducation camps”) for 19 years without telling them what they were charged with or giving them a jury trial. Last I knew, none of those countries arrested people for going to churches that were not government controlled. I don’t know if you can tell me a time when the US had its army start blasting machine guns at protesters in its own country and killing thousands of them, as the People’s “Liberation” Army did on the orders of your Nobel Peace Prize winner.

A man tells his wife she is starting to gain too much weight, and she immediately points to their neighbor who is also gaining weight. The fact that their neighbor is fat doesn’t mean there’s nothing wrong with her gaining weight. Similarly, if you talk to a typically insulated Chinese about the human rights situation in his own country, he immediately starts pointing the finger at other countries.
The other bogus argument is to bring up the term “internal affairs”. Unlike the average Chinese citizen who has never left China, most people in the world don’t consider human beings to be property of the state and don’t think the state has the right to imprison or kill them as it pleases. This term “internal affairs” is used often by dictators and their minions when they want to oppress or murder people without interference.
How long have you lived outside of China, by the way?
You would be suprised what may happend when more and more people worldwide would be better informed about China everyday problems,their attitude to international matters and the way how Chinese try to explain all of it.

I don’t care human rights in other countries at all. Why should I, there are lots of problems in Chian. I think if his neighbour hasn’t teasing the husband, why the husband complained about him? The truth is China is the fat husband, some activists is the wife and America or some other countries are the fat neighbor.

This is a typical rationalization used by supporters of totalitarian communist governments. They make all kinds of perfectly innocent things illegal – anything that is not ideologically controlled by the government – and then they arrest people for doing them.
So many things are illegal in communist countries that virtually everyone is guilty of some “crime” and can be arrested when someone in the government wants to.
I clearly know that when you try to explain what a jury is to someone who has recently arrived from China – even a very educated person – he has a lot of trouble understanding it. He’ll think that the judge has all the power and that the people on the jury are just “witnesses”. It takes a lot of time to make the person understand that a panel of ordinary people makes the final decision on the evidence given and not the judge.
