Hesitating or hesitation

I’d like to know which one of the two following sentences is correct…

He walked up to her without hesitation.

He walked up to her without hesitating.

Thank you!

P.S. I’d like to know one more thing.

Is it: I’d like to be hugged by him or I’d like to get hugged by him.

Both of your sentences about hesitation are correct.

“Be” hugged sounds better to my ears, but “get” hugged is okay too. To me, “get hugged” sounds as if the hug was more of a surprise.
