Are these sentences correct?
Her house is detached.
Her house is semi-detached.
Can I use “detached” with “shop”, “home” etc?
Can I use both “fog” and “mist” with no difference in meaning?

Your use of ‘detached’ and ‘semi-detached’ is okay. You don’t often see it referring to a shop, but there’s no grammatical reason why you shouldn’t.
‘Fog’ and ‘mist’ aren’t always interchangeable. For example, the mist rises off the mountains in the morning. (You would not use ‘fog’ there.)
Mist is usually considered to be less dense than fog.
