Is my correction good?
He asked me about my whereabout. Incorrect
He asked me about my whereabouts. Correct

“Whereabouts” means the place where somebody lives, right?

Yes, but it can also be ‘… where somebody is’. You could consult a dictionary as well.

That’s not correct. As Anglophile rightly says, it indicates where someone is at a given time, not where they live.
