So, have you read Alan’s latest newsletter issue "

yet? If not, you really should because it’s another of his famous essays on English expressions. This time he explores phrases and idioms that include the word chip. Also, you can learn about the fact that the British have a British Potato Council and that there is a difference between chips (as in Fish and Chips) and French fries.
