What difference in meaning and/or use would there be between these, IYO?

Go into your bedroom and stay there till your father gets home. Let’s see what he has to say about your behaviour today.

Go into your bedroom and stay there till your father gets home. Let’s see what he says about your behaviour today.

The meaning of both sentences is almost the same. To me, the first one implies that the father might not have anything or much to say while the second one conveys a greater probability that father actually will say something.[YSaerTTEW443543]
