has it closed down vs. is it closed down

Hi,

I found out that a restaurant called “Robbie’s” was no longer in operation. So, I went to the information counter and I asked:

has “Robbie’s” closed down already?
vs.
Is “Robbie’s” closed down already?

Which sentence should I use and why?

Another related question:

what’s the difference between:
Will it reopen again?
vs.
Will it be reopened"

I’m thinking that the word “reopen” does not need the auxilary verb “be”?
Please correct me if I’m wrong.

Thanks for your time

You can use either verb, though you should only use ‘already’ with the first structure, and also only if it has not been long since the restaurant opened.

Thanks coach.
