Goal-driven, Off you go, let me (get) through

Hi everybody , Hi teachers
Could I have your comments please

Would you describe yourself as goal-driven?
What does (goal-driven) mean ?

What dose (Off you go) mean? Would you give an example?

I heard these two sentences (let me get through), (let me through)
Is it correct to say (let me through) ?

R

Hi Redha,

‘Goal driven’ means that your life is directed through one goal or aim - a target that you set for yourself.

‘Off you go’ is an expression telling someone to start their journey or task. You could be saying goodbye to someone and they hesitate to go and so you encourage them like this: Don’t worry, everything will be all right. You must go now. Off you go.

If you are trying to get to someone or to a place quickly and there are a lot of people standing in your way, you could ask people to ‘let you through’ so that you can reach the person or the place.

Hi Alan,
I am glad to see your comments

Regarding (goal driven)
Does it have the same meaning when you say (goal oriented or goal directed)

R

Yes, if you like.

Thanks Alan
