Hi teachers,

Which one is natural if none, please tell me the natural one then?

1: Give water to the horse/goat. He is thirsty.
2: Make the horse/goat drink water. He is thirsty.
3: Water the horse/goat. He is thirsty.

1 is the best option.

2 - You cannot make the horse take the water.
3 - Generally, you water plants, not animals, though in some contexts this would be acceptable.
