What do they mean by “she seems real”?

In reality show, Ashely met one girl named Niki. Ashely’s first impression of Niki was friendly, nice fashion, and so on. And lastly she said she liked Niki becuase Niki seemed real.
And I don’t understand what Ashely meant.
Niki seemed like a normal everyday person, who was friendly and natural. She seemed to be open and honest.
