find

Hello

I need help again :frowning: Could somebody tell me if the two sentences in bold type have the same meaning?

  1. A: What do you think of this place?
B: I find this place relaxing.

  2. A: How do you find this place?
B: I find this place relaxing.

Thank you so much

Yes, the questions have more or less the same intent: discovering the other personโ€™s views/opinions about that place.

In other scenarios, โ€œHow do you findโ€ฆโ€ and โ€œWhat do you think ofโ€ฆโ€ may not be interchangeable. For example, the former usually presupposes that the other person has some direct experience of whatever it is, and would not normally be used for abstract or remote topics.
