Expression: Well paid! From 16 Euros per hour?

Hi!

Can anybody help me out with an explanation? I recently received a job offer from abroad. In the text I found the above mentioned expression:

Well paid. From 16 Euros per hour.

Now I wonder what “from 16 Euros…” mean!

Does it mean “16 Euros and more” or does it mean “exactly 16 Euros” or is it simply wrong expressed?

Thanks in advance

Michael

.
16 Euros or more. It is a common expression. The idea is that 16 Euros is the basic entrance salary, but if the applicant has good credentials, s/he may be offered-- or demand-- more.

Thanks Mister Micawber!
