There are some reasons make movies become popular all over the world.
Due to the development of technologies, movies are more and more appealing. New achievements in technologies help the prices of electronics devices become cheaper. We can easily purchase for ourselves a television or a CD player with a small amount of money. Moreover, the Internet is also a useful mean that bring movies to all of us. With some mouse clicks, we can know which movies are enjoyable and worth watching by reading the criticisms of specialists and thousands of watchers. Through the Internet, we even are able to watch the movies’ trailers before buying their DVDs or purchasing tickets at movies theaters. In addition, many techniques have been applied to improve the quality of movies. Hence, movies are more interesting and achieve higher standards than ever before. This makes we feel more eager to watch them. Recently, some movies which used 3-D technique, like Avatar, have been showed in many countries all over the world; and they have attracted billions of people.
Furthermore, watching movies is one of the best ways to relieve stress and pressure. People have to work to earn money. Sometimes, after long hours of working, they feel tired. If they do not have much time and money to enjoy other activities, such as traveling to other places, watching movies will be the expeditious method to release their weariness. Sitting in their couch and eating some snacks in front of their television, they can laugh and mix with the adventures of the characters in the movies.
Finally, by watching movies, we are able to learn many things. Nowadays, being able to speak a foreign language, especially English, have become more important; and watching movies is a good methodology to practice listening skill. We can acquire many words and structures that the actors use in their daily conversation. Moreover, we can study some useful facts about the countries where the movies are produced, such as their costumes, laws or cultures. It is really helpful for people who have intention of travelling to these nations.
In short, from the reasons above, more and more people all over the world want to watch movies. Movies have become the indispensible part of our lives.
