Educating children is a more difficult task today than it was in the past because they spend so much time on cell phone, online games, and social networking Web site.
Education plays an important role in children’s lives because it helps them to prepare for their future lives. Some people are inclined toward the attitude that nowadays it is more difficult that parents teach their children due to such things like cell phones, online games, and social networks than in the past, whereas others hold the opposite prospective. I personally, though, believe that today children can be educated more easily than ever in that not only is it more effortless to teach children, but also parents can have restrict their children to access technology.
The first reason that should be taken into consideration is that nowadays it is more convenient to educate children. When using technology to teach children, you can save your money and time. To elaborate on my point further, take the case of a shy and introverted child who is ten years old. Her parents allow her to joint to a social network group. When taking part in group’s discussions, she can develop her social skills gradually. In contrast, if her parent had wanted to go to a counsellor in order to cure her, they would have needed to expend more money and time to be able to solve their daughter’s problem. As has been pointed out, the technology assists parents in teaching their children more easily.
Apart from the point made above, no one can overlook the fact that children can be restricted by their parents to use technology. That is to say, parents should determine that their children use what programs. In addition, they can teach them that all programs are not suitable for them. My own experience demonstrates the convincing evidence of this. Two years ago when my brother was fifteen years old. He joined in some online games that were not proper for his age and promoted violence. On day, my parents realized and spoke with my brother and explained him that these types of games have many negative influences on his moral. Moreover, my parents told him that he could not play these types of games and considered some punishments for him. Consequently, not once did my brother not play the games.
To put it in a nutshell, I am of the opinion that today children are educated more easily than ever. This is because, these days technology helps parents to educate their children more effortless, and parents can restrict their children to exert technology.
Hi Samiraslh, I think you did a pretty good job with this essay. Please see my comments below. I do think you need to set the tone in your introduction that you will be focussing on parents. Like, “though schools provide a formal education, in reality, parents are constantly teaching their children and have a huge effect on their moral development” You seem to have fewer grammatical errors in this one than some of your other recent essays, congratulations!
